Question 1

What areas does JC King Cleaning Services cover?

Accepted Answer

We're based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and work across four states — all of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and Michigan. Eau Claire, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Chicago and metro Detroit are our regular routes, and we cover the towns in between. If you're somewhere we haven't listed, call and ask; we'll tell you straight whether we can get to you.

Question 2

What are your hours?

Accepted Answer

We're open 24 hours a day, Monday through Sunday. That isn't just a phone line — it's how the work gets scheduled. Strip and wax, janitorial and turnover cleaning almost always have to happen while a building is closed, so overnight, early-morning and weekend work is normal for us and carries no after-hours premium. Call (715) 379-4897 any time.

Question 3

What services do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Strip and wax, general cleaning, carpet cleaning, new construction clean-up, and move in / move out turnovers. Between those we can take a space from a dusty handover through to a maintained floor on a recurring schedule — and if a job isn't something we do well, we'll say so rather than waste your time.

Question 4

How much does a cleaning job cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on square footage, what condition the floors or the space are in, how much of it has to happen inside a closed window, and whether it's one visit or a recurring schedule. That's why every job starts with a free, no-obligation quote — we look at the actual space and price it in writing before anything begins. No surprise charges at the end.

Question 5

Do you offer any discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Returning customers get 10% off their next job, and so does anyone they refer to us. If a colleague or another property manager sends you our way, mention their name when you call and the discount applies to your quote.

Question 6

Is JC King Cleaning Services insured?

Accepted Answer

JC KING CLEANING SERVICES LLC is a registered Wisconsin business and carries insurance. We're happy to provide a certificate of insurance for property managers, general contractors and building owners who need one on file before work starts — just tell us who it needs to be addressed to.

Question 7

How often does a commercial floor need to be stripped and waxed?

Accepted Answer

For most buildings it's once or twice a year, with scrub-and-recoats in between. Entries, corridors and checkout lanes wear far faster than a back office, so the honest answer is that different areas in the same building are usually on different cycles. Through a Wisconsin or Minnesota winter, salt shortens all of them. We'll tell you which areas actually need a full strip and which only need a recoat.

Question 8

Can you work overnight so we don't have to close?

Accepted Answer

That's how most of our floor work is scheduled. We quote around your hours — after close, before open, or across a weekend — and phase the job so one area is always usable. You get a written scope, a firm start date, and a floor that's ready to walk on when your doors open.

Question 9

How long does commercial carpet take to dry?

Accepted Answer

Typically four to eight hours after hot water extraction, depending on airflow, humidity and how heavy the soil was. We place air movers on the wet lanes before we leave, and if the schedule is tight we'll tell you up front what's realistic rather than promise a floor that's still damp when your staff arrive.

Question 10

Do you handle post-construction cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we run it in the standard three phases: a rough clean once the trades are out, a full final detail, then a touch-up right before the walkthrough. That last pass matters more than people expect — drywall dust keeps settling out of the air for days, so a space cleaned once will look dusty again by handover day.
